...............Jersey DevilRATs now on FACEBOOK!........

The Jersey DevilRATs have become one of the most active Riders Association of Triumph (RAT) packs in the country, doing more rides known as Rat Runs, and covering more miles than we ever anticipated. We put the emphasis on "Riders", just not owners. Membership has more than doubled since our creation in 2004.

Rides are geared to the Triumph Motorcycling Experience: British bike shows and rallies, vintage races, road races and long rides through the New Jersey Pinelands and throughout the great state of New Jersey. Our riding season is close to 12 months a year. Some of our more hardcore pack members bundle up and ride the Polar Bear Grand Tour in the winter.

Rider safety is number one with us. Riders should have a year of solo riding before participating in group rides. Riding in a group is no place to begin to learn how to ride a motorcycle. Completing an approved basic motorcycle course is strongly encouraged. This is not just for new riders but for riders that have been away active riding for a while. In fact, a number of pack members are certified instructors. When they are not on a rat run with the DevilRATs, it most likely they are teaching a basic or advanced motorcycling skills class. DOT/SNELL approved helmets and safety gear. No novelty helmets.

Riders Association of Triumph is for Hinckley Triumphs (1991 or newer). All models of the "new" Triumph are represented with the DevilRATs. From the Modern Classic Bonneville and Sport Touring Trophy and Tiger models to the Urban Sport Models of the Sprint and Speed Triple. We cover the Full spectrum of New Triumphs.

Many members own or have owned Pre-Hinckley Triumphs (prior to 1991) as well. Our pack has a wealth of knowledge and experience on these bikes. An appreciation for all things Triumph Motorcycle is a common trait with the Jersey DevilRATs.
