The results of the 2007-2008 mileage contest are as follows:
First place and winner of a $200 gift card from Mount Holly Triumph --- Jack O. 12,719
Second place winner ,Bill S. will recieve a $100 card. His total was 10,294
Third place and its $50 gift card goes to our newest member, Wayne F. with 7,774

Added together it comes to 75,180 miles. Divided by 14, thats 5.370, well above the National average of 3,750 per registered motorcycle reported by the NHTSA.
We are going to run the contest differently this year to encourage more participation in Rat Rides with the pack. It requires a little more effort on everyones part,but it will result in a contest that rewards pack rides. The new rules are:
1. Contest starts on the first day of November and ends on Halloween day. 2. Participants must report their end of year mileage by Yahoo to the Contest coordinator. 3. Participants must report their end of ride mileage by Yahoo to the Contest coordinator after each Pack ride.Set your trip meter to 0 before you leave your house,and dont reset untill you get home. 4. Pack ride mileage will be added to your end of year mileage,yeilding DOUBLE mileage for,what we will call "pack ridden miles" 5. At the end of the year your odometer reading and your pack ridden miles will be added together to determine your mileage contest SCORE.
